Tickets are still available for the Woodlands Symphony Orchestra’s multimedia experience, HomeGrown: A celebration concert honoring the musicians, composers and artists in The Woodlands, the symphony’s final concert in its Cantus Firmus (“Fixed Song”) season. The concert will take place on Sunday, April 30 at 7:00 p.m. at The Woodlands United Methodist Church, located at 2200 Lake Woodlands Drive in The Woodlands.
Under the artistic direction of Darryl Bayer, the evening will be orchestrated with a variety of segments that include original compositions, classical favorites, soloists, live performance arts, video/media enhancement and two multi-generational-diverse symphonies on stage at the same time.
Comprised of area musicians, the Woodlands Symphony is designed to be an orchestra that encapsulates the beauty of The Woodlands with an emphasis on unique and diverse programming. The WSO embraces all with unity through the arts.
Discount advance tickets can be bought in advance online for $20 adult seating, $10 for students and seniors. Tickets are available at the door for $22 for adults and $11 for students and seniors.
