This Saturday, the Seven Lakes Lacrosse Club has signed up to scrimmage the local Special Olympics Softball team, the Katy Wolf Pack. Scrimmages will take place on Sat. from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Katy City Park.

The Katy Wolf Pack is led by Coach Don Wolf, a former special ed teacher for Katy ISD. "We love to have area sports teams come and scrimmage our players to help us get ready for the big State game coming up." Following on the heels of the Katy Girls Basketball team and the Taylor Boys Basketball  team, Seven Lakes Lacrosse boys are excited to be involved.

"This is the type of team we are working to build," says Varsity Coach Ryan Villareal. "We want the boys to serve the community, and to bond as a team. And it is going to be particularly fun because one of our players, Roland Stehr, has a brother on the Wolf Pack team, Charlie, who was our team manager last year."

The event is free, and everyone is encouraged to come support these two teams on Saturday.
